I always joked with my wife that our first child together should be called Wilbur. I even went as far as to write him a lullaby. After writing the tune, I then discovered there was already a "Wilbur's Lullaby" on the soundtrack to Babe. Emma is now pregnant with a girl, so this has been rechristened "Jenny's First Lullaby", as there will be others to follow...

A reflective piece with some electro-spacious undertones.

‘Pop Round My House’ is a collection of seven tunes that have been gathering dust on my hard drive for a while. I always meant to get a vocalist to turn them into songs, but it never quite happened.

I hereby release them into the wild to see if perhaps someone out there can write vocals for them, create mash-ups with them, or just listen to them and maybe enjoy them a little bit.

The creative community of GYBO are an inventive and generous bunch. Not only do they upload and give away their productions in return for a bit of feedback, but some videogeeks take it a step further and make videos for other people's mash-ups.

One of the most prominent video bootleggers is Boris B - type his name into Youtube for some fine examples of his work. In this case, he's happened upon a Charlatans / Jay-Z mash that I made a while ago and given it a B&W anarchic look. Very nice. Cheers Boris.

The tune itself was one of a few that I did when I was doing some support slots for The Charlatans around Scotland. They took to this one in particular, and used it to walk onstage to for the rest of the tour. Got a bit of a chill down my spine when I saw them do that in Glasgow....

I've lost count of the amount of websites McSleazy has had over the years, but I'm hoping this will be in operation for a while. I'm combining McSleazy music - electro remixes and originals plus mashups - with the music I do under my own name Grant J Robson, which is more cinematic.

I'm putting up a few older McSleazy tracks and videos which I'm quite proud of along with a new EP. I imagine that most of the new entries on the site from here on will be original tracks, although I may add some old tracks if requests come in. Either way, enjoy the site.
